The fourth edition of Universal Light has been published, and with contributions from around the globe – this publication is quickly gaining international recognition as a resource for the lighting curious.
The support for our first three editions of Universal Light has been fantastic, and our intention for Universal Light Edition #4 is to continue to be a valuable, engaging and above all, informative resource.
Inside you’ll find a focus on diversity and inclusion, as the valued gateway to securing competitive advantage – displaying the organisational attributes that business leaders are striving for – creativity, resilience, teamwork and innovation.
Universal Light #4 asks you to take a moment to pause and reflect on our contribution to gender representation within the lighting industry. Eleven women from different disciplines and backgrounds, showcase thought leadership across many aspects of the lighting and construction industry.
This edition of Universal Lighting is set to spark conversation, but ultimately, it is a showcase of excellence. With contributions from individuals who are doing incredible things, they are encouraging the next generation of consultants, project managers, entrepreneurs and designers.
On International Women in Engineering Day (23 June), four contributors discussed key topics affecting the industry – diversity and inclusion, post-COVID, mentoring and disruption. Attendees from every continent (excluding Antarctica) Zoomed in to the panel discussion, demonstrating that the messages resonate around the world.
