Sustainability
Light with Purpose
From materials and manufacturing to end of life, every decision counts for people, projects, and the planet.
Responsible by Design
Sustainability at Unios is a design choice, a production habit, and an everyday standard. We prioritise long life, modular repair, recyclable or plastic-free packaging, and transparent, audited supply chains. The result is light that performs beautifully and endures responsibly.

Longer Life, Less Waste
100% LED portfolio using high-efficacy chips. Fixtures engineered for long-term use and modular repair. Post-sales care for responsible end of life. Excess stock is recycled or donated to community rebuilds.
Plastic-Free Packaging by 2027
Recyclable packaging is already used across the majority of our range. Lightweight materials cut freight emissions. Target: eliminate single-use plastics by 2027 without compromising protection.
Operational Footprint
6,000 sqm WA headquarters for office, warehouse, and production. 70% of total site energy is supplied by solar. We continue to improve energy, water, and materials use.
Built to last, designed to be repaired
We engineer for service life. Critical components can be serviced or upgraded, extending performance and delaying replacement. When a product cannot be returned to service, we support responsible recycling or donation through community programs.
Community Engagement
We donated lighting to support safer, more uplifting spaces for women and children in crisis.
Through our LightJam sports program, we raised awareness and over $12,000 for mental health in partnership with R U OK?
We're proud supporters of Women in Lighting and regularly collaborate on education — including the 4th edition of Universal Light.
A long-standing partner in events and business networking that help connect and elevate local Australian businesses.
