As a result, the offices at [Two Melbourne Quarter](https://www.melbournequarter.com/work/two-melbourne-quarter/) in the Docklands have been designed to the highest sustainability standards, achieving a [6-Star Green Star As-Built](https://new.gbca.org.au/rate/rating-system/design-and-built/) and a 5.5 Star [NABERS](https://www.nabers.gov.au/ratings) Energy rating.

Rather than a conventional “corporate” layout, EnergyAustralia’s office adopted an open structure to maintain a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere, making it the ideal working environment. Running a consistent theme of agility and inclusion, EnergyAustralia’s Melbourne office takes advantage of small-scale workspaces that are perfect for autonomous focus yet spacious enough for collaboration between team members. Suspended atop each space is the **Akira**, providing a sufficient light source for task lighting. With its white finish and minimal exterior, the Akira fits seamlessly into the design and interior fit-outs.

To ensure the safety of the team moving between floors, the **Aeon Flex** is recessed into the handrails. With the light source hidden, the Aeon Flex emits a gentle spread of indirect light that is both practical and aesthetically pleasing in creating safe pathways.
