The store is an exploration of balance, where lighting is carefully considered to complement the collection without overwhelming it. Much of the lighting is directed towards the clothing racks, providing ample illumination whilst maintaining a comfortable atmosphere for browsing. Against the neutral interior, deep red accents in the furniture and garments introduce moments of contrast, drawing the eye towards selected details, letting the collection truly take lead.


A defining feature of the retail space is in its flexible track lighting, intentionally positioned above the clothing racks to adapt to the brand's changing collections. As new pieces are introduced and different garments take priority, the fittings can be repositioned to shift the visual hierarchy wherever the store needs attention. This flexibility encourages the space to evolve alongside its collections, allowing light to be an active part of the retail design, one that feels considered as opposed to mere means of illumination.

Understated in its approach, Gia Studios show that retail lighting does more than make products visible. It shapes how a space and its products are experienced. Lighting becomes part of the retail collection, with the interior serving as a considered backdrop for its ever-changing collections and reinforcing the brand's identity through the experience of the space itself.
