### Unios Melbourne Experience Centre: where art, design, and lighting converge

Unios takes pride in the uniqueness of its Experience Centres, with Melbourne being the latest addition to those in Perth, Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. Each one is tailored to reflect local architectural influences; the MEC radiates Fitzroy's artistic vibrance and excitement, celebrating local arts and design through collaboration with local businesses, such as [Artedomus](https://www.artedomus.com/), [In Good Company](https://ingoodcompany.com.au/), and more. With a moody and dramatic ambience characterised by dark materials, the MEC serves as the perfect backdrop to showcase Unios' designs and innovation. 

Designed to help visitors envision lighting, the multi-faceted space is divided into 12 modules, each designed to create a unique lighting scenario, demonstrating different lighting practices. As one enters, they are greeted by a sitting area that serves both conversational and lighting demonstration purposes. Placed at the heart of the Experience Centre are the Technical Space and the Conceptual Space, both visually striking and rich in educational value. 

### A comprehensive display of cutting-edge lighting technology

The Technical Space is a marvel of illumination, featuring an impressive array of luminaires independently controlled by Casambi Bluetooth. This space offers a comprehensive display of lens technology, optics, beam angles, colour temperatures, and lighting effects. Artworks featured throughout this space are the works of [Melbourne artist COADY](https://www.fingallery.com.au/artists/25-coady/overview/), brilliantly illuminated by a series of Unios spotlight and track fixtures.

### Discover the versatility of the ION S Series in lighting design

Purposefully designed, the **ION S Series** is an ideal solution for multiple occasions. Elevating both the atmosphere and aesthetics of the space, explore what’s possible with the ION S Series.

### Explore the captivating lighting designs in conceptual spaces

The Conceptual Space is equally captivating, with three key Concept Booths and a fully equipped bar reminiscent of a Fitzroy hospitality venue. These Concept Booths represent a bathroom, hotel room, and retail shop, each adorned with custom signage. "Chapel & George" is a fictional hotel brand demonstrating lighting scenarios for hotels and residential applications. 

The "Faro" Retail booth, another fictitious establishment, showcases lighting practices for retail spaces. Lastly, the bar area, "27 Hundred°," boasts a custom American oak island designed by [JB.DS](https://jbds.com.au/). Its black cabinetry houses a state-of-the-art bar display that doubles as a hospitality lighting demonstration.
